002: Decisions
Perhaps it was the most trivial of times when families are turned against each other, relationships are broken, and backs are turned. Perhaps it is when the difference in ideals pose a threat to the hearts of many that he chooses to strike.

It was cold that night, colder that it should have been, mid-fall. The streets were still, quiet and lonely. The tension grew.

It was at the brink dusk when the power went out. The vast expanse of the city drowned itself into unrelenting darkness. When all was black, the attack began.

His minions fled the streets, hunting. In search of the ones of the light, they crawled through the darkness, swarms of them ricocheting from one household to another, taking lives, while many sought to fight for them.

The battle had just begun.

Okay, so basically, if your muse is on the dark side, he's part of the attacking committee. If he's on the good side, then he's on the attacked end. And woohoo. If your muse is on the dark side (considering the very few muses we have on that side in general), he gets to boss people around! Yes, he/she has little minions with them, and they lead their own little troupes. Time for some action people. :]

Having just returned to Korea, all Yunho expected was a little bit of rest. They'd appeared on so many shows, countless, day by day. The fatigue had taken its toll long ago, and the recent events did nothing to settle his already tired body.

It was the least he expected, to have the power go off on such an off day. But as the night grew darker, then tension in the air grew thicker.

The pwer never came back, and slowly, carefully, he gathered the rest of the group into the living room. Something was up, and Yunho knew it.

Yunho's call to the living room was unexpected, and Jaejoong was too tired to argue or refuse, getting up from his bed with a pillow just in case he could sneak a nap or two without being noticed (and he wanted something warm to hold onto).

It was only Yunho that he saw in the living room first, so he guessed he was the first to come out of his bed. "...Yunho..?"

He wondered what it was about, but it didn't take much for him to leave his laptop and make his way to the living room. Something could have come up, he thought; mostly pertaining to a certain person but he would've gone either way.

"What's going on?" He asked as he made his way to one of the chairs and sat down, Yunho and Jaejoong the only ones in the room.

All Yunho could do was lick his lips and sigh, stopping in his tracks with his arms crossed over his chest. There were three of them. Junsu was gone, and that left one.

"Jaejoong," he looked to the lead singer almost instantly as he uttered his name, "was Yoochun in the room with you?"

There was no doubt of his worry now, fear almost transparent on his pale features.

Yoochun let himself out of the Suju apartment where Junsu left him, his face clearly distraught. The pain he was feeling doubled--tripled even in intensity because of his powers, losing control over them after what happened inside.

He made his way back to their apartment as tears began their way down his cheeks, staining his clothes. But he was silent..no sobs, no nothing..with his body stiff as if void with any kind of emotion.

He was pacing. Back and forth in the darkness as he directed Jaejoong to the couch.

"Something's not right."

Donghae stood looking out the window. They were back in Korea for a time before their next interview, but Hankyung was leaving tomorrow again. Somethihng was going on. He didn't know what though. Whipping out his cards, he started going fastly through them and laying them out in the most powerful fortune positon he knew. Donghae didn't like what he read. Doom. Change. Wheel of Fortune. Sighing, he stuff the cards back in his pocket quickly.

Where was everyone? He looked around the flat confused. Was he alone?

Henry carefully considered his options as he walked towards the flat, what was he to do with the whole, "I'm evil." statement? He glanced up quickly as he sensed the glow from Donghae's soul thread brightening, was he using his powers...?

He groaned, knocking quickly on the door before slipping in, "hyung?"

He was surprised when Henry left and headed back to the apartment, but it seemed like he was taking it seriously when he said he wanted Donghae on their side.

Nevertheless, even when Henry slipped into Donghae's room, he stayed outside, listening in through the door curiously. If Henry did get into trouble, he could always go in and bail him out. It was safer that way.

He knew something was going to happen, and he chalked it up to instinct, but he knew it wasn't going to be a bad thing, as far as he was concerned. Still, it didn't stop him from trying to find their youngest member. "Henry?" he asked, pushing open one of the doors to the practice rooms.

Junsu pulled his jacket tighter around himself and crouched down, surrounded by creatures waiting for his command. He glanced at them, saw that they were determined in fighting, and he nodded. "Go," he said, and they left in swarms, intent on killing.

He straightened, cast one long look at the apartment where he had left Yoochun, and mouthed "I'm sorry", before leaving.

He had a job to do.
